This breathable Laser Top Cover is made from a breathable polycotton material which is a mixture of polyester and cotton.

The unique characteristics of polycotton ensure that the air flows through the cover when dry but when it starts to get wet the cotton within the material expands to close the gaps and keep the cover waterproof.

The boat cover is designed to be used when the boat is in the boat park or when the boat is being towed. The cover sits flat over the deck with enough room to store your masts and essentials underneath.

Why are Polycotton Boat Covers the best?

The cotton fibres in the polycotton boat covers blend and swell when they become wet. This helps to make the fabric more waterproof the wetter it becomes. As the boat cover dries, the fibres shrinks allowing moisture to evapourate away from the boat.

The 50/50 polycotton fabric combines the strength of the polyester with the breathable nature of the cotton.

Although more expensive than a PVC boat cover, the cotton gives the material its unique breathable characteristics. Other benefits also include:

Laser Under Cover

Our Laser Under Cover is made from a blue 7oz breathable nylon material and comes with soft webbing ties to protect your boat. The ties are easily clipped together and adjusted using plastic snap hooks.

You should buy an under cover if you are travelling frequently as they help to protect the underneath of your boat while the boat is being tied. The cover helps to keep the surface of the boat clean and grime free, very helpful if you've just spent time polishing the boat. Under covers can also be used while the boat is being stored.
