Are ILCA and Laser parts the same thing?
In most cases, yes. The ILCA is the same hull as the Laser, so the vast majority of parts, fittings, and rigging are fully interchangeable between the two. If you sail an older Laser or a current ILCA, the spars, foils, control lines, and deck fittings you need are the same. The class was renamed to ILCA (International Laser Class Association) for racing, but the boat itself has not changed.
Which ILCA parts do I need for my rig?
That depends on which rig you sail. The ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 share the same hull but use different sails and lower mast sections. The top mast, boom, foils, and deck fittings are common across all three. If you are replacing a sail or lower mast, check your rig size first. Yes. We splice our own ILCA kicker, downhaul, and outhaul systems in house, ready to rig straight onto your boat.
