Charles has recently over the last year been getting really involved and enjoying racing his Topper. After completing his RYA Levels he began sailing an Oppie and shortly after started sailing the Topper
Let's find out some more info on how and where Charles started sailing.
At Aged 7, as a “Sprat” starting the youth sailing journey Warsash Sailing Club.
An Optimist, and we also had a fiberglass Mirror so we could go sailing as a family.
Now enjoy Topper Racing, Paddle boarding, kayaking and cruising up the river in our small renovated 50 year old motor boat.
Currently I sail from Warsash Sailing Club
Winning the Southern Area Toppers 4.2 Fleet, in the 2022 season.
Warsash. Plenty to contend with; Tide and various wind conditions depending if we go out of the river into the Solent or up river to find more sheltered conditions.
My main goal for 2023 is to compete in the southern travellers, national series and then the end of season Nationals.
I love to sail anywhere warm! But with the right kit, even when the decks are frozen, being on and in the water is great fun.
I needed GBR letters for the ILCA Europeans and they arrived by the next post.

Product exactly what I wanted
Good cover, made of a thick tough material and fits the boat well. The drawstring really helps tighten it around the boat and keep the rain and dirt out! There is enough extra space under it to fit your mast and boom on a deck tidy under it. Looks great in the club berths!

Bought these to fit to the under boom sliders on a Super Spars boom to use for the main sheet. Block is compact and fits close to the underside of the boom keeping main sheet as close to boom as possible.
