Types of Boat Cover

Here at Sailing Chandlery we offer many different types of boat cover to help keep your boat protected through the variations of British weather.

Materials

Our dinghy covers are available in three different materials:

Breathable polycotton - for over covers
PVC - for over covers
Breathable nylon - for under covers

The PVC option is available in grey or blue, the nylon and breathable polycotton dinghy covers are only available in blue.

Types of Boat Cover

Our covers can be made for dinghies or catamarans, we are also able to make custom covers if you can provide us with the measurements.

The setups include:

Flat cover - suitable for a Laser, Pico, Topper etc
Mast up flat cover - suitable for a Contender
Mast up, boom up - suitable for a Solo or similar
Catamaran covers - both flat and boom up

Our covers are all made in the UK and we aim to make our dinghy covers as long lasting as possible and provide them with simple features which are unlikely to fail over time.

Transom tie down at base of the boat cover to pull it tight
Soft webbing straps to protect the bottom of your boat
Velcro to secure areas such as from mast down to bow
Hardened areas around shrouds
Top quality breathable polycotton, breathable nylon or PVC material
