The big C word is nearly upon us, just over 6 weeks until Santa will be jumping down your chimney to deliver some nice new sailing bits to you ahead of 2019.
As a Laser Performance authorised dealer for the Laser boats and spare parts we thought it would be helpful for you if we identified some popular Laser items which would make perfect stocking fillers. Pass this article onto Santa and the elves in your house hold to ensure they've got some great sailing gift ideas.
A good priced item as a Christmas gift, the Laser Clew strap comes in white with a Laser Performance logo.
The Laser self bailer is an item sailors replace quite often and it's always great to have a spare one sitting in the toolbox just incase it's needed at an event.
It comes as a unit with everything you need including screws and fixings.
Having a spare set of battens is always a good idea, although they might be a pain to stuff into a stocking your sailor will surely love them as a gift.
There are two friction pad options available for the Laser, ask a Laser sailor which they prefer and most people will give you a different option.
These wear out if you're doing alot of sailing so it's worth getting a few, quite often our customers buy 5 at a time.

Be ready for those bumps in the road with a handy 125ml pot of Laser Ice Blue gelcoat.
The full set of new mainsheet blocks for your Laser made by Harken. These are now standard issue on new Lasers and would be ideal if your sailor is using the older blue mainsheet blocks.

Cover arrived after three days and is well made and completely covers the boat boom up . The straps and clips all work fine. Good product.
My local chandlery were unable to supply a white inspection hatch and so it was amatter of looking online. Sailing Chandlery had the cover I needed in stock at a good price and delivery. I had never used them before but the service I received was excellent with the delivery on time and the hatch is now fitted.
