Over the past couple of years you may have seen some mention of the Ocean Play Pico, rather than the Laser Pico.
The Laser Pico is a very well respected sailing dinghy which has been popular with sailing centres, sailing clubs and with individuals all over the World - it's the perfect base for experiencing sailing and learning.
In 2002 the rights for Laser Performance to sell the Pico dinghy ran out from builder Jo Richards. At this time Jo searched for a new builder for the Pico, Bug, Vago and Bahia - boats which have been built by Laser Performance since their initial design.
RS Marine Group agreed to be the new builder of the boats and started a new company called Ocean Play as a new brand for the sailing dinghies and their parts.
This is where the Ocean Play Pico has come from with the removal of the Laser Pico.
The Pico has the following sail sizes and comes with a normal main sail as standard.
There are only two small differences between the original Laser Pico and the newer Ocean Play Pico:
Apart from that you'll get exactly the same boat, with the same parts, from the same original sources.

You do need to squeeze to get liquid out. Which is so much better. Don’t lose liquid etc.

Very easy to install. May need some additional sealing for complete water-tightness.
It was time for me to upgrade to a newer Ilca and it was recommended that I get a Devoti. The price was competitive and the service from Andrew and his team was fantastic. Currently 2 weeks into an Eastern Mediterranean trip with these shoes. Grip is great and they drain really well. Comfort is brilliant… as long as you take the right size. I followed the measurement guidelines and they work well. Highly recommend shoe!

I bought the burgee and clip for a Hartley 12 and found downwind sailing much easier single handed. The clip came with the screws so it was a 10 minute job including dropping the mast. Website worked well again and the items were delivered quickly so a good job all round.
