McLube Sailkote Dry Lubricant - 300ml

The new cans of McLube Sailkote come in an aerosol can at 300ml. McLube® Sailkote™ dry lubricant spray should be sprayed on anything that moves to make it more slippery, helping your systems to run more freely reducing friction.

Included with the can is a pipe which attaches to the nossle for a more accurate application.

You can try McLube Sailkote for the following applications:
- Your spinnaker chute
- Luff tapes
- Bowsprits
- Mast tracks
- Tell tales
- Tracks that don't use ball bearings
Once you've added Sailkote dry lubricant you'll be amazed at how much it reduces friction on your boat parts! You can spray or wipe it on depending on the application. The McLube will dry in seconds, and unlike oils, silicones and waxes it doesn't attract dirt and water contaminants.

If you're really keen you can spray it on and around your tell tales and it will stop them sticking to your sail on those horrible rainy days on the water.

It is really good

Other than mechanical fittings, I soaked my Finn halyard in it - the most stubborn of all gremlin infested ropes always tending to tangle, wear, rub and knot - and even this behaves better ! Harken say the chemical does not dissolve which is good for performance and better for the environment

Delivery and Costs

We try to treat delivery as a pass through cost and keep the cost to you as low as possible, on top of our already competitive product prices.

We offer free UK standard delivery for orders over £95 which includes most items. This does not include boats, trolleys, masts, booms, rig packages and large items which can't be sent via standard mail.

Any order placed by midday will leave us the same working day unless there is a lead time which we detail on the product page. We do not ship over the weekend or on bank holidays.

Boats, trollies and trailers - These items cannot be sent using a post service, they have to be collected or delivered by our van. Deliveries sent outside of the UK may be subject to duties and tax on import.

What is the quantity for ropes?

We sell rope by the metre, the quantity is in metres. If you order 5 items you will receive one 5 metre continuous length of that specific rope.
