ILCA 4 MkII Rig Package

Everything you need to put an ILCA 4 rig on your ILCA or Laser, in one package. The sail, the lower mast, the battens and the sail numbers, so there is nothing left to work out and nothing missing when you get to the boat park.

The ILCA 4 is the smallest of the three rigs and suits sailors between 35 and 55kg. It is where most sailors land when they move up from an Optimist or a Topper, and it is the rig that keeps a lighter sailor racing in a breeze instead of swimming. Plenty of families also buy one as a second rig so a younger sibling can sail the same boat.

Because all three ILCA rigs share the same top mast section and boom, converting between them is simpler than people expect. Swap the lower mast and the sail and the job is done, which is exactly what this package covers.

The sail is the MkII specification and the whole package is class legal, so you can take it straight to a club race, an open meeting or a Nationals without a second thought. Sail numbers are included as 230mm high digital 8 numbers.

Two things to note. Tell tales are not included, so add a set if you need them. And if you would rather not wrestle with sticking numbers on straight, add our sail numbering service to your basket and we will fit them for you before it ships.

We pride ourselves on our speed of shipping and our fast delivery services at Sailing Chandlery.

Any order placed by 2pm UK time will leave us the same working day unless there is a lead time which we detail on the product page. We do not ship over the weekend or on bank holidays for one simple reason - we love to go sailing as much as you do.

We try to treat delivery as a pass through cost and keep the cost to you as low as possible, on top of our already competitive product prices.

We offer free UK standard delivery for orders over £100 which includes most items. This does not include boats, trailers, trolleys, masts, booms, rig packages and large items which can't be sent via standard mail as they are too large.

Boats, trollies and trailers - These items cannot be sent using a post service, they have to be collected or delivered by our van. We are based in the UK, deliveries sent outside of the UK may be subject to duties and tax on import.

What is the quantity for ropes?

We sell rope by the metre, the quantity is in metres. If you order 5 items you will receive one 5 metre continuous length of that specific rope.

How quickly will you send my order?

We work Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and pride ourselves on our speed of dispatch. If the item is in stock and available we dispatch any orders received by 2pm the same working day.

What happens if I need to return or exchange?

You have 90 days to return a product for a refund or exchange.

Please do read the product descriptions in full, some items we cannot accept for returns or come with a restocking charge due to them being custom or clearance items.
