Works great, if a little fiddly due to narrower hole spacing

Took a few go's to fit to topper, due to hole spacing being narrower - found if first screw was located with just 1 thread turn, then put in 2nd screw at an angle, then force it up straight before screwing in (don't screw at an angle or you risk ringing the threads), that it stretches the fairlead plastic sufficiently to locate. Steel insert is slightly loose while this is being done, but tightens into place as threads complete. Been working great for the last 6 sails, and hopefully the added steel will increase its longevity as intended.

Just fine

Don't be put off by the 1mm stated difference in fixing hole centres from the bog standard A282 also on the Sailing Chandlery site (as of early August 2021), on delivery you will find that this product is the basic 282 with a bit of stainless steel popped in, no visible difference in fixing holes (when compared with an old 282 I had recently removed from the traveler) and bears the 282 product code stamped/moulded on it.
