The team at Sailing Chandlery (previously Dinghy Rope) have been offering an online chandlery service since early in 2012.
During that time we've served thousands of customers across the World. We initially started by selling rope from Marlow but have now expanded our range of products and now stock over 700 different items from ropes, blocks, accessories, clothing and much more.
We're also pleased to mention that we are the number one rated sailing company on TrustPilot, this is a position we've held for over a year now.
You've most likely been searching for a product and have landed directly on that product page of the Sailing Chandlery website. If you haven't then please feel free to browse by using the navigation, or you can use our smart search bar at the top which makes product suggestions.
Once you've found the sailing product you're looking for simply select the relevant options (colour, size etc) and choose Add to Cart. It's important to note that if you are buying rope, the quantity is the number of meters you would like.
When the products are in your basket you can check them over. The number of products and price are shown at the top of the website, you can click there to see more details at any time.
If you are happy then proceed to checkout. At this point you'll be asked to login, register or checkout as a guest. If you haven't already shopped with us we would recommend creating an account, this then means you'll be able to collect reward points every time you shop. Remember, first time customers get a 10% first order discount, it's a friendly hello from us.
Enter your details, pay through Worldpay or PayPal and your order will come through to us.
Once we have your order we'll dispatch it as soon as possible. We ship orders Monday - Friday (excluding bank holiday) and aim to get your order out the same day if placed by midday. During busy times this may not be possible.
The large majority of orders are shipped using Royal Mail, items over 2kg or direct ships will be sent via the UK Mail courier.
If you can't see what you are looking for then it's worth giving us a call on 01268 222912. In most cases we'll be able to source the product quickly and ship it direct to your door.

We have just purchased the Mersea twin Laser box trailer. Ordering the trailer, and adding the lid afterwards, was easy and straightforward with accurate lead times for its delivery. We paid for delivery to the South Coast and the trailer arrived bang on time along with other items we ordered. Fantastic customer service all round!
The trailer had its first trip this weekend, a 3hr drive on a mixture of town, country and motorway roads and it was a dream to tow - no noise save the odd rattle across potholes, easy to see in the car mirrors and very easy to connect and pull. It's also easy to manoeuvre two by just two people.
Our junior sailor was delighted by capacious box section with two access points and he was able to stow all of his kit to travel and then all covers, bags and kit whilst on the water today.
