In this video the team at Sailing Chandlery take a more detailed look at the Mersea Trailers double stacking box trailers, in particular the Laser/ILCA version and the Topper version.
We explain the difference between the Laser or ILCA version and the Topper version.
These double stacking box trailers are extremely popular and are fantastic to tow. Complete with a 6 foot by 4 foot metal box there is plenty of storage space to keep your sailing essentials safe while on the road, or on the water.

The trailer is designed to carry two Laser and the box to carry parts and rigging.
(This trailer doesn't include the box lid as pictured this is an additional cost and is made to order) This trailer is different from the Topper version as it doesn't have the additional cross bars to allow you to carry shorter boats like Optimist and RS Teras.
The height between the racks is 475mm and will fit Teras, Toppers Lasers and Opitimst.
If you require taller racks there is a 600mm version that will fit Fevas, Picos, Fusions and Wasps. Please get in contact for current pricing.

Cover arrived after three days and is well made and completely covers the boat boom up . The straps and clips all work fine. Good product.
My local chandlery were unable to supply a white inspection hatch and so it was amatter of looking online. Sailing Chandlery had the cover I needed in stock at a good price and delivery. I had never used them before but the service I received was excellent with the delivery on time and the hatch is now fitted.
