D Splicer

The D Splicer is one of our most popular splicing tools we sell.

The versatility of this tool allows you to splice ropes from 1mm to 10mm with ease. The Splicer comes in a handy storage tube where you can keep spare needles and fids. In the package, you get 4 needles in total. 2 smaller more flexible needles for thiner ropes and 2 larger stiffer needles for larger ropes. Each of these is easily interchangeable by screwing it into the handle.

Also in the package is a pair of instructions with some tips on how to use it and splice your first lines.

Splicing needles have become an even more essential tool to keep in your toolbox with the new style soft attach blocks coming with a new boat and purchase systems. Having a D Splicer makes threading these soft attach blocks a lot simpler and less fiddly. If there is one sailing tool to add to you shopping list it should be this.

Shop the D Splicer range today.
