5 Great features of the Gorilla Laser/ILCA Foil Bag.
Here is why we think you should be using the Gorilla Foil bag to look after your Laser/ILCA foils keeping them in great condition and protected when they are not in use.
The large exterior pocket on the Foil bag is great for a number of items. Whether you keep your rigging in the bag when travelling or you are keeping a spare set of battens or ropes in the pocket there is plenty of space.
The pocket also has a mesh base to drain any water and moisture out and let air flow in and out of the pocket.
The Name tag is great if you are regularly travelling to events.
In a busy boat park it's easy to lose track of where you may have put your boat covers and foil bag especially if a lot of people have the same covers. The handy tag helps you make sure you know whose cover is whos.
The top half of the bag has a zip running around it. We have all at some point either seen someone struggling or ourselves struggle to get out foils back into other foil bags with small tight openings. The large opening makes this a lot easier to get the foils in and out of the bag whether that be with the bag on the ground or up in the air.
Unlike other foil bags, this has a very stong metal zip that is more durable and less likely to break. The Plastic zips are great when they are new but long periods of UV whilst sat in the bat pack mean they tend to lose the zip teeth therefore it becomes incredibly difficult to do up and undo after long-term use.
A lot of foil bags come with additional padded separation for the rudder and the centreboard however, the Gorilla foil bag has an additional sleeve on the side that could fit and an additional rudder or blade. Handy if you like to keep spare available.

Cover arrived after three days and is well made and completely covers the boat boom up . The straps and clips all work fine. Good product.
My local chandlery were unable to supply a white inspection hatch and so it was amatter of looking online. Sailing Chandlery had the cover I needed in stock at a good price and delivery. I had never used them before but the service I received was excellent with the delivery on time and the hatch is now fitted.
