2017 has been another great year for us at Dinghy Rope (now Sailing Chandlery). Far busier than we could have ever imagined!
It all started with the RYA Dinghy Show in March which was our first time exhibiting. It was brilliant to be out and meeting you all face to face, we had lots of great comments about our service we provide.
During the year we've continued to expand the products we stock far and wide and a long way from rope, which we of course continue to stock with over 100 reels in stock. Our Zhik and Harken stock has increased hugely and those items continue to be popular with sailors all across Europe.
We also launched our own boat covers range which has been very popular over the first few months with many covers leaving Dinghy Rope HQ.
After a completely mad March and April where we struggled to keep up we also hired more staff to ensure we can process your orders quickly and efficiently. During the year we've been training them and adding more useful skills so we can offer you a better more varied service.
In the first couple of months of 2018 we're going to be launching some exciting new products and have new items we will be stocking. We'll also continue to expand our current ranges working towards becoming your number one stop for all sailing chandlery items.
2018 will see some big changes for our company and you'll be seeing us at plenty more events throughout the year. First being the RYA Dinghy Show when we have double the space in the same location as 2017.
For the second year running we are finishing the year as the number one rated Sailing and Boat Equipment company on Trust Pilot which makes us extremely proud. Customer service is key to us and we hope we can continue to meet your expectations in 2018.
Before we close off for 2017 we just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of our customers. We simply wouldn't be here without you and we look forward to speaking to you in the new year. Keep an eye on your inboxes on new years day.

Ordered a dyneema RSAero halyard on the Thursday. It arrived by mid day on the Friday and was used on the Saturday. Excellent product and service. Thank you
Cover arrived after three days and is well made and completely covers the boat boom up . The straps and clips all work fine. Good product.
My local chandlery were unable to supply a white inspection hatch and so it was amatter of looking online. Sailing Chandlery had the cover I needed in stock at a good price and delivery. I had never used them before but the service I received was excellent with the delivery on time and the hatch is now fitted.

Jason delivered the boat on time at Hayling Island Sailing Club. The boat was new and all the spars were in perfect condition.
