We sell a range of sailing equipment and supply customers across the World, everything from a metre of rope through to a brand new sailing dinghy.

You should be a proactive, confident self-starter who is passionate, dedicated and eager to learn whilst using your initiative to deliver an excellent service for our customers. You must be capable of working alone competently as well as being able to adapt as a team member. The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is essential as the company continues to grow.
Person Specification
The Role
The warehouse assistant role is a key part of the Sailing Chandlery team. You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
You’ll be working at the forefront of the business with direct contact to our customers who visit our showroom. You will work closely with the Managing Director and other team members in daily tasks to build upon and grow the Sailing Chandlery business.
Main Duties
Working Hours
Monday - Friday 9.30am - 3pm.
Weekend working may be required to support events and shows with advanced warning being provided, usually only once or twice a year.
Pay
Starting at £7.50 - £10.50 per hour depending on age and experience.

Nearly 40 years on from my first "Laser" I have just taken delivery of my second - a Devoti Ilca 7. Buying this new ILCA has been a 5 star experience, and dealing with Andrew, Jason and Steve at Sailing Chandlery have all been great - candid advice, all the help and assistance I could have wished for. We ordered a 100m reel of sheet rope for our sailing club's training fleet of Toppers and Fevas. It runs through the blocks very easily and is great to hold. The children on the courses love it!

WIP have really pulled out all the stops on this impact vest to suit all forms of hi-performance watersports. Feels great on, good snug fit - no restrictions to movement and doesn't impact on trapezing like a lot of buoyancy aids. A very well made, high quality vest that has everything you need to keep you safe on the water.
