This week we bring you an overview of the popular Velocitek Speed Puck which is a digital speed reader which utilises GPS technology.
As racers all we want to do is go faster, no matter how good you are you always feel you could have done something different to the boat to get that extra bit of speed across the race course.
The Velocitek Speed Puck uses GPS to track the device as it moves along the race course providing you a speed reading every 2 seconds using a large number with an accuracy of ±0.2 Knots.
As a sailor you can quickly switch between three different modes by using the big blue button on the face of the Speed Puck. This allows you the ability to either:

You do need to squeeze to get liquid out. Which is so much better. Don’t lose liquid etc.

Currently 2 weeks into an Eastern Mediterranean trip with these shoes. Grip is great and they drain really well. Comfort is brilliant… as long as you take the right size. I followed the measurement guidelines and they work well. Highly recommend shoe!

I bought the burgee and clip for a Hartley 12 and found downwind sailing much easier single handed. The clip came with the screws so it was a 10 minute job including dropping the mast. Website worked well again and the items were delivered quickly so a good job all round.
