#FridayFocus - Harken Grip Tape

Thanks for the swift completion of my order for ILCA, 2000 and Pico training sails. The material looks first class as is the workmanship. ILCA & Pico sails ordered late afternoon Wednesday received 10 am Friday. 2000 sails complete with 2 reefing points as requested made to order just arrived - delighted.

I used a particular credit card for the first time in 12 months to purchase the voucher, which an brand new email address due to work, and 5 days later a card fraud took place on that card. Fake bank employee also called me and knew the email address and confused the billing address for the company credit card eith my home address. Only one possible source was Sailing Chandlery.

Also a pair of sunglasses were not dispatched

I brought the superwarm v wetsuit from sailing chandlery online. It was very quick delivery & good support for the owners.
The wetsuit is brilliant & keeping my son warm while doing his winter training.

I required 5 rudder retaining clips for our junior sail training clips, the e mail site showed the exact clips I required I ordered them and they were with me in 2 days great service I will use the site again.

Took the gloves on an trans-Atlantic row. Very comfortable and great when chilly at night and to keep hands dry. So impressed I’m taking another pair on my Pacific row from Monterey to Hawaii in June.

Just what I needed and great service.

I've been asked to leave a review for this bung. I had bought this to give to a politician as he had requested a bung to help out with a question, but it turned out not to be the 'right sort of bung'. No matter, since luckily I have a boat and this one fitted the hole at the back and seems to just the item required for this. After inserting into the said hole, it transpires that turning it one way lets the water in nicely for the water ballast effect, and turning it the other way helps keep the water inside. Turning it again the other way then lets the water back out sometimes. It also seems that sailing backwards with the bung unscrewed is not wise but there was no warning in any of the instructions that didn't come with the product.
In summary - useless as an encouragement to politicians, quite good as a manual boat hole valve.
