Dinghy Lite Dyneema Sheet Rope

Evolution Dinghy Lite Dyneema sheet rope was new for Kingfisher Ropes in 2019 and has proved to be a very popular rope choice for those wanting to taper their rope sheets.

Evolution Dinghy Lite has a 12 strand PU coated dyneema SK78 blended core with a 16 plait cover that's made of dyneema and a special non slip fibre.

The rope is made by Gottifredi Maffioli and the combination of materials and construction makes the rope ideal for tapering and for use on high performance dinghies and catamarans.

If you use this rope for the sheets on your boat you'll be sure to get a flexible, strong and easy to taper rope with excellent handling qualities.

We've made custom sheets for sailors on 29ers, Nacra 15's, F18's and Tornados using this rope.

We currently offer the rope in a 6mm, 7mm and 8mm diameter with one colour choice in each diameter.

Breaking Strains

The minimum breaking strength for these ropes are:

  • 6mm - 100kgs
  • 7mm - 1,500kgs
  • 8mm - 2,000kgs
