As a Laser Performance authorised dealer Sailing Chandlery supply brand new Laser sailing dinghies in the UK.
We can supply the Laser 4.7, Laser Radial and Laser Standard MKII as a brand new boat, and we can customise boat packages to your exact needs.
Do you hold boats in stock?
No, we don't hold boats in stock in Essex. There is one simple reason behind this, and that's the sail numbers move too quickly with the number of Lasers produced daily. If we were to hold a boat in stock for a few weeks your new boat sail number could be behind by quite a number. Our experience is that customers want the latest number.
Boats are available within a few days so we won't keep you waiting too long.
How does a new Laser come?
New Lasers are delivered by Sailing Chandlery wrapped in plastic for protection, exactly how they come out of the factory. We also deliver all of the parts ready for fitting.
Please note, no cleats are added to the boat so you will need to start from a bare hull. If you would prefer we can set your boat up for you.
All other items such as the mast, rudder etc come packaged up in their original boxes.
How does Delivery work?
You can either collect direct from us in Essex from Laser Performance in Northampton or we can discuss delivery of your new boat direct to your door.
We'll arrange a time which is suitable for you so we can get you out and sailing as soon as possible.
What comes included with a new boat?
As standard a Laser comes with everything you need to go sailing, but not with a launching trolley or boat cover. We believe these are essentials for any new boat so have created our boat packages which include a launching trolley and boat cover as standard.

Can I add extras?
Yes, of course you can. Our experience tells us that all new boat customers have different requirements, whether it's adding a Radial rig as well, or maybe you would just like an undercover added.
We tailor every new boat purchase so just tell us what you need and we will be happy to provide a custom quote for you.

Cover arrived after three days and is well made and completely covers the boat boom up . The straps and clips all work fine. Good product.
My local chandlery were unable to supply a white inspection hatch and so it was amatter of looking online. Sailing Chandlery had the cover I needed in stock at a good price and delivery. I had never used them before but the service I received was excellent with the delivery on time and the hatch is now fitted.
