ilca-4-mkii-rig-package
ILCA 4 MKII Rig Package

ILCA 4 MkII Rig Package

Everything you need to put an ILCA 4 rig on your ILCA or Laser, in one package. The sail, the lower mast, the battens and the sail numbers, so there is nothing left to work out and nothing missing when you get to the boat park.

The ILCA 4 is the smallest of the three rigs and suits sailors between 35 and 55kg. It is where most sailors land when they move up from an Optimist or a Topper, and it is the rig that keeps a lighter sailor racing in a breeze instead of swimming. Plenty of families also buy one as a second rig so a younger sibling can sail the same boat.

Because all three ILCA rigs share the same top mast section and boom, converting between them is simpler than people expect. Swap the lower mast and the sail and the job is done, which is exactly what this package covers.

The sail is the MkII specification and the whole package is class legal, so you can take it straight to a club race, an open meeting or a Nationals without a second thought. Sail numbers are included as 230mm high digital 8 numbers.

Two things to note. Tell tales are not included, so add a set if you need them. And if you would rather not wrestle with sticking numbers on straight, add our sail numbering service to your basket and we will fit them for you before it ships.

ILCA 4 MkII Sailing Rig Package Key Features

ILCA 4 MkII sail

ILCA 4 lower mast section

ILCA 4 sail battens

230mm high digital 8 sail numbers

Fully class legal for club racing through to championship events

Suits sailors between 35 and 55kg

Fits any ILCA or Laser using the standard top section and boom

Tell tales not included

Sail numbering service available, add it to your basket before checkout

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0138/5899/6288/files/f1554d1a-42dc-4b2b-b032-50e77cd76186.jpg?v=1791905361
