Laser XD Standard Boat Package with Composite Mast

The Laser standard boat is the original Laser with the full rig and large sail. It's the worlds most popular adult racing class boat and has other smaller rigs available. True to box one-design standards, each Laser in the world is identical.

The Laser Standard is recommended to be sailed by people with a weight of 70 - 95kg.

With this product you are buying a complete boat package which gets you on the water, it includes a boat cover and launching trolley.

This version of the Laser comes complete with carbon composite top mast section and the Laser XD pack which makes the boat easier to handle.

Please note, this is a Laser Class boat and not an ILCA boat, this boat comes without a World Sailing boat plaque.

Lead Time and Delivery

We can usually deliver new boats within a 1-3 week delivery window.

If you would like the boat delivered we will need to provide you with a quotation, please get in touch with the delivery postcode for a quote as boats are delivered by van and cannot be sent via courier.

It is also unlikely we will be able to deliver this boat outside of the UK as the cost will be high. You will need to arrange a freight forwarder to ship the boat.

Proper Laser

Eventually the boat I wanted. It's a laser, which is a mixed blessing, but ideal for the club racing that I enjoy. All the bits are as good as a laser ever can be. Fiber top section, carbon tiller and extension and quality xd pack. (Only 6;1 on the cunningham which does not suit the Mark 2 sail but easily fixed.)
Nothing better or worse than the new ILCA boats with the 3K registration plaque.
I hope the quality and build stay parallel to the ILCA boats so cost of the registration plaque remains transparent.

Delivery and Costs

We try to treat delivery as a pass through cost and keep the cost to you as low as possible, on top of our already competitive product prices.

We offer free UK standard delivery for orders over £95 and includes most items. This does not include boats, trolleys, masts, booms, rig packages and large items which can't be sent via standard mail.

Any order placed by midday will leave us the same working day unless there is a lead time which we detail on the product page. We do not ship over the weekend or on bank holidays.

What is the quantity for ropes?

We sell rope by the metre, the quantity is in metres. If you order 5 items you will receive one 5 metre continuous length of that specific rope.
